James D. Danella

James D. Danella

In 1972, James “Jim” D. Danella, a freshly minted graduate of Villanova University’s School of Business, bought, with his father, Thomas W. Faulkner Construction. As CEO/Chairman, Jim has expanded the utility construction organization from a single operation in Norristown, Pennsylvania, to over sixteen unique Danella divisions, 1,500+ employees spanning the continental United States, and over $350 million in revenue.

With this growth, so expanded the services. A few local Pennsylvania contracts in electric and communications have grown to work with major utility industry leaders across the country in gas, steam, storm restoration, water, and railroad infrastructure construction. In addition, Danella Rental Systems is also a national equipment rental company for Class I, regional and short-line railroads, transit authorities, utility companies, and municipalities.

Jim is also a real estate developer, owning various properties throughout Pennsylvania and Florida. He serves as a board member of La Salle Academy, Mission Kids, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s “Heritage of Faith, Vision of Hope” Campaign, and St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. Jim also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Penn Liberty Bank and the Board of Villanova University for ten years.
