Danella Construction Corp of FL (DCC-FL) is getting a new place to call home.
Since 1983, the majority of DCC-FL’s activities and operations have been housed in a double-wide trailer at 581 Washburn Road in Melbourne, FL. The accounting department has been four miles away in an office complex (1600 Sarno Road). By Summer of 2017, this will no longer be the case, with a new 7,000 square foot Florida Headquarters.
The project, which broke ground in December of 2016, will consolidate both of these locations onto the existing 3.5-acre site at 581 Washburn Road, just west of the present trailer location. The building, which is currently underway with concrete being recently poured, will offer employees of DCC-FL an updated functional space. February will see the iron work and building being erected, from there, the focal point stone veneer entrance and curved canopies, and then the interior.
The focus of the building is functionality, with cabling being installed to meet current and future state of the art technology, replacing aged phone and internet cabling currently used. In addition to cabling upgrades, employees will enter a facility with energy efficient lighting and modern finishes/décor. Employees will also have a more productive work environment, with a much-needed employee break room, a lobby with waiting area, a conference room, and several informal meeting areas being added to the design. A large storage warehouse with high bay doors will also be a place for equipment and product storage.
Danella is growing, and with that, space at the new Florida headquarters is set for future growth. The large storage warehouse, could easily in the future be built out for more office space or training areas. In addition, easily maneuvered workstations yield the ability to configure office spaces differently as the group grows.
