HARRISBURG (May 2022) – The Pennsylvania National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA) has awarded its 2022 NUCA PA Safety Award for Extra Large Company to Danella Construction Corp of PA, headquartered out of Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County.
Recently celebrating its 50th Anniversary, Danella Construction was found in May 1972 by James D. Danella. Growing from a small construction company based out of Southeastern PA, the company has grown to have over 20 divisions and over 45 offices/yards throughout the United States. Danella specializes in services including gas, electric, telecommunications, water, storm restoration, railroad construction, and equipment rentals.
Safety, quality, and productivity are all cornerstones to the Danella Safety Program, along with taking “Pride in Everything We Do.®” Safety is the responsibility of every employee but overseen in Pennsylvania by Safety Manager, Taylor Murray CSP CHST CIT. Following a zero incident philosophy along with human performance methods, Danella continues to advance the conversation around safety.
